This time around it is our Non For Profit Organization "Afghans Helping Afghans", that will take this initiative to encourage Afghans in the West to reach out to Afghans in need inside Afghanistan.
Afghans need support now more than ever. According to World Food Program 1 in 3 people are now hungry. Hunger plus cold winter temperature is what Afghans are facing now. In the last 4 months civil servants in Afghanistan have not been paid. Private businesses perish one after another. As a result families have lost their source of income.
Millions can not put food on their table for their children. Millions have no means to keep their homes warm during this harsh winter.
Afghans need our help. Together we can help some families survive hunger and cold winter of Kabul. Afghans Helping Afghans is a Non for profit organization registered in Ontario, Canada. It is established by Dr. Ahmad Shah Ashrafi and Dr. Zarlasht. The sole aim of this non for profit is to raise funds for those in need in Afghanistan.
Despite current security and logistic challenges in Kabul, we are able to designate trustworthy people to deliver your donations to families in dire need and at risk for starvation. We will transfer your donation to Kabul via a reliable source. Our people in Kabul will buy food supplies (flour, rice, cooking oil, tea, sugar) and heating supplies or blankets for as many families as possible. Every dollar you give will increases the number of families we can help, the number of children, women, and elderly we can save. Together we have helped Afghans in the past. Together we shall continue to do the same
