I've been lucky enough to never have to make one of these and hopefully I'll never have to again. I have a family member/friend that's been put in a shitty situation. They've just graduated high school and due to circumstances completely out of their control they've been kicked out of their home. This is a good person that just wants to be able to commute to work and school, but does not have a vehicle and is being relocated. In life some people get dealt a shitty hand, but this person can't really afford to buy-in to see what the cards look like. I know it's a terrible economy and unless you're a defense contractor or hedge fund manager you probably don't have much money in the budget for acts of kindness, but anything you can contribute would be immensely appreciated. This is a person that will go on to do great things if they're given an opportunity and hopefully small donations from large amounts of people will give this person the chance they deserve.
