Cloud Nine Women's Charity for Fertility Support

Hi Angels and welcome to Cloud Nine! My name is Holly and here is a bit about why I am fundraising.

In 2022 I was diagnosed with POI (Premature Ovarian Insufficiency) also known as POF. It was a fertility condition I had never heard of and I was given a 5% chance of conceiving naturally. I was advised to freeze my eggs and begin treatment for IVF. As you can imagine the shock of this sent me into total panic. There was very little support or guidance on POI provided by the clinic that diagnosed me or anywhere in fact. Therefore, I took to social media to find advice and support .. and BOY did I strike lucky!

During this time, I managed to build a community of incredible women all looking to support each other in their conditions and began a vlog on how I was managing my symptoms. (WATCH HERE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YZvoC_vDtU&t=1s) Regardless of whether it was POI, PCOS, Endometriosis, we all had one thing in common. Therefore after I fell pregnant with my daughter (hehe!!), I knew I had to do something to give back to this incredibly community that helped me during my darkest days.

So here it is.

In short, Cloud Nine is a support group for women diagnosed with any type of fertility condition. The point being, to learn from each other just as I did and reach your own ‘cloud nine’ feeling, whatever that may be. If you are TTC or simply trying to master your symptoms, there will be something for everyone here. Whether it be joining our talks, events or support group, I hope you will find peace within each unique situation. In time to come, Cloud Nine will become an official charity to raise funds for women unable to afford private fertility guidance and hopefully one day go as far as full IVF treatment. But in the meantime, I will be using this platform to raise funds until I have decided which is the best route to take.

I am SO ready to build a community on here to empower women on such a taboo topic (still!). So wherever you are at my POI, PCOS, Endo girls.
