Clothes for Uganda's Children

Welcome to a Human Initiative Program fundraiser. This GoFundMe will be dedicated to clothing children in desperate need of clothing and shoes in Uganda. With shipping costs so expensive from North America to Uganda we have decided to purchase bails of clothing which are actually clothing donated and collected here in North America then sold and shipped over seas, sorted and re sold as a wholesale product to foreign markets for retail sale.
We have been able to establish a connection to purchase 100kg bails of sorted clothing for children.
The bails will be shipped to our HIP Centre in Kasese where we sort and distribute throughout the communities in need. We have a team member in Kampala who will take care of the buying of the bails and shipping them to the centre in Kasese.
Every dollar donated goes towards the clothing and shoes. By purchasing in bulk our goal is to clothe a child for $1.50 cdn. Shoes range from $1.50 to $7.00 Cdn.
It takes approx. 3 days from receiving to having clothing at our centre.receiving the funds to arrival of clothing at our HIP centre.
With our efforts we hope to get decent clothing for the children to wear. They do not have much but at least we can give them their dignity.
