*Update* 2026

Thanks to everyone who has supported this event back in October. It was truly a great opportunity to cycle on the day for support Special Olympics Ireland with Clooncarne Explorers Childcare and also to be accompanied on the final leg of the trip by all the superhero Children of Clooncarne childcare.

Also thanks to all others who have made the day worthwhile to include staff of Clooncarne Explorers and Parents and assisting Guarda.

On Friday 24th October I am raising money for Special Olympics Ireland on behalf of Clooncarne Explorers Childcare and to celebrate Superhero days during the month of October.

I will cycle from Abbeyshrule Aerodrome on Longford/Westmeath border to Bornacoola Leitrim to CloonCarne Childcare and meet with superheroes on Friday for 11.45-12pm

Happening throughout October, Special Olympics Ireland are encouraging everyone to dress up as their favourite Superhero, real or not, and help raise funds for their super athletes! Superhero Day is an easy but fun way for your little superheroes to support our little superheroes!
