Hello Friends,
As we know Hurricane Harvey has taken so much from so many. Friends in Houston have two very close families that have lost everything. She reached out today asking if we could gather anything to donate to the family as our son is the boys age. I have tried to put myself in their place many times and cannot begin to imagine what they are going through. We are so fortunate to have a home to go home to and a warm bed to sleep in because at any moment this could unforunately happen to any of us.
The Clinkscales Family were able to escape with their two young children (6 and 2) as well as the Goodgame Family (children are 6 and 3 months). As you can imagine they are now trying to absorb all that has happened while re-building their homes and lives.
The funds raised here will be split between these two families who I know will so greatly appreciate it. Since they are in temporary housing Melanie Romero, close friend of both families, will be delivering them each a check. We are all thinking, praying and keeping Houston in our thoughts. Please help to show them love from Austin and donate any amount you are able.
