The Backstory: during my youth, I was always interested in the Humanitarian efforts volunteers experienced helping people around the world. Through my Master's program of Orthotics and Prosthetics, I was fortunate enough to learn specialized skills in order to help individuals with limb deficiencies. Stumbling upon Range Of Motion Project (ROMP), a volunteer organization, I realized that I could utilize my skills to help people in need in South America.
Now: I teamed up with ROMP to travel to Ecuador, Quito, from August 2nd- August 11th. There I would be a Clinic volunteer which will allow me to help patients under the supervision of experienced clinicians. Attached is a link of a short video that would illustrate the efforts done in Ecuador. It's a nice video so take the time to watch it!

These efforts to create prosthetic devices and orthotic braces by volunteers will make a huge impact for the people of Ecuador and empower them throughout their lives.
The Costs: for both the program fee for volunteering ($1500) and the airplane ticket will come to around $2000.
I would greatly appreciate any donation no matter how small to contribute in making a difference for these patients trying to regain control of their lives.
