Hi everyone — it’s been a while, but I’m back at it!

Cancer affects nearly every family. We all know someone impacted by it — a family member, a friend, a colleague, or perhaps ourselves.

Yet millions of patients around the world never receive radiation therapy — one of the most effective cancer treatments — simply because it isn’t available where they live.

This summer, I’ll be climbing in the breathtaking Dolomites of northern Italy to support Radiating Hope, a nonprofit working to expand access to life-saving cancer care in underserved communities around the world.

My goal is to raise $2,000 (with a stretch goal of $5,000) to support this mission — and to help carry hope for patients everywhere.

Radiating Hope works to expand access to radiation therapy by providing equipment, training medical professionals, and helping hospitals build sustainable cancer treatment programs in developing countries.

I’m honored to support this mission by participating in this charity climb in the Alps.

Why This Mission Is Personal

As a Radiation Therapist with more than 15 years of experience in the industry, I’ve had the privilege of standing beside patients throughout their fight against cancer. I’ve seen firsthand the hope that modern cancer treatment can bring, and I’ve also been fortunate to help develop products that make an impact on patient care.

It’s deeply troubling to know that many people across the world never even get the chance to receive treatment simply because the technology and training are not available where they live.

That’s why Radiating Hope’s mission resonates so strongly with me. Their work reminds us that access to cancer care should not depend on where someone is born.

Carrying Prayer Flags of Hope

During the climb, I will be carrying Tibetan prayer flags, long regarded as symbols of healing, strength, and protection.

These flags are meant to carry prayers and blessings on the wind — spreading hope and well-being wherever they travel.

Anyone who donates will have the opportunity to dedicate a prayer flag in honor of someone they love who has been affected by cancer.

After donating, I’ll send a thank-you message with information on how to include a name for dedication, along with a symbolic certificate recognizing your support of Radiating Hope’s mission.
