Climbing Mountains to Support Teenage Cancer Trust

Why This Matters

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the life-changing words: “You have cancer.” In that moment, everything shifts. But with the right care and support, cancer doesn’t have to define their future.

Teenage Cancer Trust ensures young people don’t face cancer alone by providing:

✅ Specialist nurses who deliver expert, age-appropriate care.
✅ Dedicated hospital units designed specifically for teenagers.
✅ Mental health and emotional support for young patients and their families.

With your support, we can give young people the strength to fight cancer on their own terms.

 The Challenge

To push myself physically and mentally, I’m taking on a series of mountain challenges—starting with these climbs alongside my dad:

 Yorkshire Three Peaks

 ⛰️ Pen-y-ghent – 694m (2,227 ft)✅
 ⛰️ Ingleborough – 723m (2,372 ft)✅
 ⛰️ Whernside – 736m (2,415 ft)✅

 National Three Peaks

 ⛰️ Scafell Pike – 978m (3,209 ft)✅
 ⛰️ Snowdon – 1,085m (3,559 ft)✅
 ⛰️ Ben Nevis – 1,345m (4,413 ft)

And this is just the beginning.

I’ve climbed these mountains before, but this time, it’s different. Every step, every mile of rugged terrain, and every tough ascent is for a cause bigger than myself. These challenges are nothing compared to what young cancer patients face every day.

How You Can Help

Every donation—big or small—makes a real difference. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this page and spreading the word means just as much.

Together, we can support Teenage Cancer Trust and make sure no young person has to face cancer alone.

 What Your Donation Can Do

Your donation to Teenage Cancer Trust helps provide specialised care and support for young people aged 13 to 24 facing cancer.

Your generosity contributes to:
 • Specialist Nurses – Expert healthcare professionals trained to meet the unique medical and emotional needs of teenagers and young adults with cancer.

• Youth Support Coordinators – Dedicated professionals who help young patients cope with anxiety and isolation during treatment, providing vital emotional and social support.

 • Dedicated Hospital Units – Age-appropriate spaces within NHS hospitals, equipped with computers, TVs, and game consoles to make hospital stays more comfortable and less isolating.

 • Mental Health Support – Access to specialist psychological services, ensuring young people receive the mental health care they need throughout their cancer journey.

 • Education and Advocacy – Programs that educate young people about cancer, raise awareness, and advocate for their unique needs within the healthcare system.

By supporting Teenage Cancer Trust, you are helping to build a network of care that addresses not just the medical challenges of cancer but also the emotional and social well-being of young patients. Thank you for your generosity and support.
