Climbing for Compassion: Bringing Hope to the Needy

I'm Kashim - a teacher, a husband, and a father.

I believe that while we cannot change the entire world, we can change the world for someone.

This fundraiser is on GoFundMe, but let me make one thing clear—I am not asking for anything for myself.

Like you, I sleep each night with a roof over my head and wake up knowing there is food on my table. All praise be to Allah. But there are countless others—children, mothers, fathers—who go to sleep hungry, who wake up uncertain of where their next meal will come from. For them, I lower my head and raise my hands to you, pleading on their behalf.

This April, I will be hiking to Mount Everest Base Camp—not just as a personal challenge, but as a mission to support those in poverty in Bangladesh. I am raising donations for complete strangers, people with no wealthy relatives to turn to. I believe the best charity is given sincerely, without personal connections, to those who truly need it.

In the past, we have built water wells, toilet facilities, and distributed food packs, ensuring that 100% of the funds go directly to the needy. Every penny donated has been spent on those in need, with no administrative costs—just volunteers dedicated to serving humanity.

This time, depending on the total amount raised, the funds will be used to:

Build water wells for communities struggling with clean water access

Provide food packs to struggling families

Support school children with essential materials
