Climbing a mountain to help young people

Donation protected
When I was 18, I was in a very bad place mentally, and I was not looking after myself well. I didn’t know how to look after myself. I had attempted to end my life, and I had given up on everything. I became at risk of homelessness and was placed with Step by Step, who I have so much to thank for. They helped me gain my confidence, taught me life skills, and how to look after myself. They placed me with an amazing host who I still see as family today. They gave me my life back. It’s because of them that I made it to University, something I never even thought of achieving. I will always be eternally grateful for them. I want to climb a mountain in April 2026 to raise money for Step by Step.

Any donation or share will help make an impact. You will be benefiting and helping young people like me.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.

Step by Step tackles youth homelessness and its risk factors. They support young people aged 11-25 across Hampshire, Surrey, Dorset, Wiltshire, Berkshire, and West Sussex, offering accommodation and vital services. Their approach includes Foyer placements, Supported Lodgings, and Fostering, along with mental health services and the Launch program for education, employment, and personal growth. Last year, they helped 1,586 young people, providing them with the tools to achieve independent, sustainable living.

Thank you.
