SNOWDON CLIMB FOR MND
30th August 2025
A group of us are coming together to take on the challenge of climbing Snowdon, all in support of the Matt Gallagher Foundation. We might not be seasoned hikers, but we’re lacing up our boots and taking on this walk with determination, a shared purpose and a bag full of nutritious snacks…
All and any donations/support mean the world to us. Thank you <3
A message from Amber:
It’s been just over three years since I lost my dad to Motor Neurone Disease, and there’s not a day that passes without thinking of him.
He loved the outdoors more than anything, being out and about gave him life, freedom, and peace. Watching that slowly be taken from him was unbearable. We had to fight, not only the illness, but the financial pressure too. We were incredibly lucky to have the support of kind-hearted people who helped fundraise to enable the build of a wet room, ramps, and getting a wheelchair accessible vehicle so he could hold on to some dignity in the time that he had left.
No family should ever have to worry about money when they’re already dealing with the heartbreak of MND. That’s why we’re doing this walk for the Matt Gallagher Foundation.
They’re doing what wasn’t available to us at the time: giving families the help they so desperately need. Every single penny we raise will go straight to them, supporting local families in the West Midlands living through what we did.
We’re so proud to stand alongside the Gallaghers, they’ve turned heartbreak into hope, and we truly believe we were brought together for a reason.
