Hi Everyone, my name is Éanna, and this September (11th-19th) I’m taking on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro - the highest peak in Africa - to support Cuan Mhuire. This challenge is more than just a personal goal, it's a way to raise awareness and funds for those facing the much tougher climb of overcoming addiction.
Cuan Mhuire is Ireland’s leading provider of addiction treatment and residential rehabilitation services. Their programme combines one-to-one counselling, family support, and a strong emphasis on personal accountability through intensive 12 and 20-week residential courses, helping individuals overcome drug, alcohol, and gambling addiction.
I’ve chosen to support Cuan Mhuire Coolarne, based locally in Galway, because of the incredible work they do in our community. After visiting the facility, I was deeply moved by both their story and the compassionate, practical support they offer residents. Addiction touches so many lives, often closer to home than we realise, and I want to help shine a light on the vital services Cuan Mhuire provides.
All funds raised will go directly towards improving the facilities and ensuring the continuity of services at the Coolarne centre, giving residents the best possible environment to heal and rebuild their lives.
Any donation, big or small will make a real difference. And if you're not in a position to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser to help spread the word about this incredible charity.
Thanks for your support
