Hello My name is David Castillo, I'm a breathwork practitioner, climate tech entrepreneur, and photographer on a mission to elevate humanity and the planet. 100% of profits from my breathwork practice and photography go towards social impact and nature conservation projects.

I am fundraising to enable clean water access for over 13,100 people in rural agricultural communities in the region of Esteli Nicaragua.

This is the second water-filtration project I've done in partnership with La Fem (Fundación Entre Mujeres) a non-profit women's empowerment organization based in Nicaragua focused on economic empowerment, women's rights, education, and sovereignty.

La FEM fosters economic development by granting women, land, seeds, education, health resources and other services to empower women in rural communities through agricultural entrepreneurship. Through this branch alone, La FEM has empowered thousands of women to create income and livelihoods for their families and communities.

La FEM has identified clean water access a critical need for 12 of the communities they work in.

Over 3.5 million people die of diarrheal disease, pneumonia and related diseases that can be easily prevented through clean water. Diarrheal diseases are the third leading cause of death in children 1-5 years old and the leading cause of malnutrition in children under 5 years old.

A $35 donation is enough to purchase 1 water filter , than can provide clean water to 100 people for 10 years. A $50 donation covers a filter and overheard costs and support youth leaders in the communities to install and maintain the filters over a a period of 10 years. The water filters will be purchased through Wavesforwater.org.

In addition to funding the implementation of the filers, we will also be documenting the the story and highlight the impact that Fundación Entre Mujeres is having.

This is an amazing way to make a huge impact for so many people!
