Help Clean Up Salford purchase equipment for our volunteers
Hi, my name is Andy Salter and I am fundraising for a new network of volunteer community clean up groups I chair & run along side the help of local people who care called "Clean Up Salford", which is based at the Langworthy Cornerstone Volunteer Centre.
We would really love to make more of a difference in the areas of Salford we volunteer our time, so am asking for small donations so we can cover the cost of additional tools & cleaning supplies to help us cover a larger area.
The GoFundMe fundraising target has been based on the number of bags collected since starting the group in Nov 2023 and will increase each time we update our bag count monthly with Keep Britain Tidy. I have also recently become a Keep Britain Tidy Litter Heroes Ambassador to support the wider community and all of our members are also part of our Salford Litter Hero network who are continuing to do some amazing work as featured in our page video. I hope this demonstrates how committed myself and our group members are, Our favourite motto is #lovewhereyoulive and we hope it already shows.
It would be fantastic to have enough to purchase some basic cleaning supplies such as litter picking equipment, sturdy brooms, cloths, sponges, buckets, scrapers, the list could go on!!! Please donate if you can help us out to clean up our dirty old town.
