Clean Water for Uganda Orphanage

Hello, my name is Nancy and I am a university student from Minnesota helping to raise funds for a cause beyond myself.
Recently, I have been blessed to get to know the children of an orphanage in Uganda, Africa. These 20 beautiful and loving children have been orphaned due to the HIV/AIDS crisis. These children are cared for by a young Christian man, Stanley Bemba (pictured below in the first image). Once an orphan himself, the now 22yr old Stanley has devoted his life in service to others as he clothes, feeds, parents, educates, and teaches these children of the love of God. Stanley works part-time as a carpenter in an attempt to make ends meet but with 20+ mouths to feed, it just isn't possible with out the generous help of others.
Prior to the hit of COVID-19, these children were already suffering in poverty, however, with the recent lock downs, they are struggling to gain the basic necessities of food and clean water. Despite their physical poverty, Stanley and these children are rich in love and still share what little supplies they have with their otherwise dying neighbors.
Specifically, this fundraiser will go towards helping Stanley buy a large $1,500 water tank to keep clean rain water on hand for the dry seasons. Some of the pictures included show the children fetching unsanitary water from the dirty stream a mile away from their home. These images demonstrate the medical necessity of a clean rainwater tank for the quality of life of these suffering, yet joyful, orphans. If additional money is raised beyond the cost of the tank, this will be spent on food and other essentials (rent, clothing, medical supplies, and education materials) for the children.
These children are in great need of the love and support we can all give in some way or another. Stanley, myself, and especially the children are beyond thankful for your love and support that will allow them to live happier and healthier lives!
