In September 2025, I visited a Maasai village near Arusha, Tanzania, with my family. We were deeply moved by the people’s warmth and joy. Especially the children, who find laughter and happiness with so little. Yet, we also saw how urgently basic support is needed.

The community built a school and a medical centre with their own hands, but both projects are now on hold. The clinic cannot open without toilets and the nearest hospital is 65 km away. Once the toilets are finished, the government will open the local healthcare centre — bringing care within 5–10 km of surrounding villages. Children walk 10–14 km to school each day, often without food or clean water, while drought and wild elephants make farming nearly impossible. Together with Nenga and her organisation MWACI, we aim to change this.

Your donation will first build the toilet block (€2,000), then repair the water system and finally provide school meals. Every contribution, big or small, helps bring water, care, and hope closer to home. Thank you for supporting and sharing this project.

The toilet block beside the new medical centre is halfway built, but construction stopped due to lack of funds. Finishing it will finally allow the clinic to open its doors.

The village water tank — once a lifeline for the school and clinic — now stands still after the pump broke. With your help, we can bring clean water back to the community.
