Hi, we're the members of the varsity lacrosse teams from New Trier High School and Loyola Academy outside of Chicago. We've been fierce rivals for decades and have had quite a few epic battles on the field. But, for the first time, we're coming together to fight for a great cause.
One of our own, Clay Scherb (member of the New Trier team), suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury last year. He's fighting every day to regain his physical abilities, so we want to help provide him with resources to support him on his journey.
However, this would not be NT vs. LA without SOME competition. To that end, we'll be playing our own Ryder Cup event on April-7 at Wilmette Golf Course. For one day only, we'll be trading lacrosse sticks for golf sticks. And we won't be hitting each other with these sticks. Probably.
But we need your help. If you have the ability, please consider making a donation to our effort in helping support Clay. And if you can't, that's ok too. We'll take a silent moment of reflection for Clay also.
Thank you for any help you can offer!
