Hi all,

As most of you are aware, Lucy and her husband very kindly organised and paid for the end of year party this evening. Whilst I know that the hall and some equipment was donated for the evening, Lucy paid a lot of money out of her own pocket to hold the evening for our children as well as taking annual leave to be there to set up.

I hope I’m not the only one to agree that, that being an extremely generous thing to do and take responsibility for children for the evening.

Unfortunately, it was cut a bit short due to some unsavoury behaviour and caused damage to the room and most parents having to help clear a terrible mess up.

Lucy is unaware of me organising this, but thought it would be kind to maybe donate what we can to help share the load. I certainly hope there isn’t a bill for the damage or cause them any problems having been trusted to use the donated space.
