Class of 2020 Solidarity
On Thursday June 11th we are celebrating our minority and underserved friends and family in our local communities - specifically those graduating this year, with complementary senior photos and custom artwork t-shirts! Congrats Beaufort County NC Class of 2020 !!! This event is FREE and open to the public and ⇨ALL⇦ local graduating seniors are invited to join us in celebrating our towns’ unity in diversity! Every senior who attends will have the opportunity to receive a 5 minute mini session from multiple local photographers at once and at least 10-15 final digital images each.
Because this is a celebration of our local minority graduating seniors in particular - as a way for us all to show we have nothing but love for our neighbors and communities - we will be providing a free t-shirt to any class of 2020 senior who would like one Thursday night at the photography event!!!
*Class of 2020 SOLIDARITY*
Original artwork custom designed for this event - this is very special for us and was created and donated by artist and Washington NC native Amy Scheidegger Ducos of @RockAndRoarCreative
This event would not be possible or happening if Jennifer Walker had not reached out to me to offer up her support and photography in uplifting our communities and if Scott Clark had not stepped up and stepped in to ensure that we could pull together such a large scale meaningful event in 7 days.
BUT BUT BUT
in order to make these shirts happen we need some help! We are attempting to raise $3,500 in the next few days to pay for hundreds of these tees for our area graduates - please consider chipping in as little or as much as you can swing. We are working exclusively with Washington small business @SchoolHouseSwag on this, so your donation will go right back into our local economy! Anyone donating $250+ will be considered a sponsor and receive acknowledgment and tagged on future posts, as well as mentioned and thanked in the email that will go out to everyone with the album of photos once it is complete. Talk about an opportunity to make a difference for your town - we also want to amplify getting the word out that your company/organization/you personally stepped up for kindness when it was needed most!

We challenge more local businesses and folks to follow their lead and help do something nice for our graduates this year!
Any surplus past our goal of $3500 will be donated to our local Boys & Girls Clubs of the Coastal Plain in Washington and Belhaven! So this is a win win!
This event is in the spirit of inclusivity and kindness for us here in Beaufort County, and potentially to inspire other people and places to seek compassion and unity in diversity, as well! We invite you to celebrate with us by donating and sharing this information with local seniors and parents!
