Clarinbridge Community Playground 2020

We are at a very exciting stage here at Clarinbridge Community Playground! As a group of parents together with the help of Councillor Martina Kinane who set up the committee to fund raise for a much needed playground for our area, to date we have been successful in obtaining Leader funding along with our own fundraising efforts to raise €110,000.
The site is looking fantastic and the playground equipment is ordered and we hope that it will be fully operational in the early autumn. We had planned to have a final small fundraiser event once construction work on the playground had begun, but unfortunately because of Covid 19 and the current restrictions, we are unable to hold such an event. We have decided instead to launch a gofundme page to raise the money that the Leader grant does not fund but is essential to complete our playground. We are now at the final phase of development, and really hope that the community can support us in our fundraiser. We have set up this gofundme page to raise the required €15,000 to bring our much needed playground to fruition.
The money will be used to pay for:
Stone fill for the site
Topsoil for the site
Stone, kerbing, surfacing and fencing for the car park
Supply and installation of sand digger, sand pit and play sand.
This will be a fantastic amenity for every child in our community and will greatly enhance our beautiful village and surrounding areas.
