UPDATE 6th JUNE 2019
Following the local elections on 25th May, I'm delighted to tell you that I have been elected to Offaly County Council! I'm really grateful for all the support I've received during the campaign, both online and in real life, and I look forward to working for the people of Offaly for the next 5 years. Many thanks again!
I am standing in the 2019 local elections as the Social Democrats' candidate for the Birr area. I want to improve representation for the people of South and West Offaly on Offaly County Council and to do my part in working to make Ireland a fairer and more equal society for all.
As your local representative I will work to be a voice for all on Offaly County Council. To run an effective campaign, I need to get leaflets, posters and canvass cards printed. As the local elections are only seven months away, we have started working on the campaign already, and I need to raise some funds before Christmas to pay for leaflets and canvass cards. Closer to the elections, we will need to get posters printed too.
There are 6 Councillors for the Birr Electoral Area on Offaly County Council, and all residents of Banagher, Birr, Ferbane, Belmont, Shannonbridge, Clonmacnoise, Kinnitty, Coolderry, Shinrone and surrounding areas can vote for Councillors for this area.

All contributions, however small, are valued, and I will only spend donations on necessary publicity material. I really appreciate your support.
