Clare Supports Kenya

Hi, my name is Michael (Pa) and I am heading back to Kenya for a month to continue the ‘Clare Supports Kenya project.

last year I was overwhelmed as the project made over 8,000 euro and this money then helped 50 children with a disability and there families to a better standard of living through giving them better bedding, livestock and basic necessities that they don’t have access to. In Kenya if you have a disability there are no services. This year I’m travelling to a new area to help develop another sensory room for children with disabilities and also to help provide basic necessities for families living in extreme poverty. My aim is to give them a better environment for physiotherapy, to bring the good nature of the Clare people to Kenya and to start giving these families some hope for a better future.
