A recently abandoned mom of four is seeking financial assistance for living expenses. Because of the special needs of her children, finding housing that meets her needs is challenging. Due to previous and ongoing financial abuse, she has no savings and very poor credit. By donating to this fund, you are supporting safe housing for Claire and her family; first and last months' rent at a new apartment complex that meets the allergy needs of her youngest; four to five months of rent.

She is a mom of four youngsters, a faithful woman of God, an accomplished artist, and an energetic and fun friend.

Claire was married to her husband for over a decade. Devastatingly, her husband abandoned her and the kids in July of 2022. He has withheld financial support for them and owes her a great deal of child support. Before the abandonment, he had denied her the right to have her name on any of their assets, including the home and car loans; he refused to let her know of their finances; he prevented her from going to the store to buy groceries. He has been diagnosed with numerous mental health issues, all serious, and none of them good.

Claire is in the process of getting a divorce. She works as a virtual personal assistant and is looking to supplement her income with substitute teaching. Her youngest child has major allergies to dairy, soy, and dogs. His dog allergy is so severe that he has anaphylaxis when in proximity to a dog or is in a room with carpet and furniture that has had dogs present, even if the dogs have been gone for many years. As a result, finding adequate housing is extremely challenging.
