Claire Julian Memorial Garden at Rye Neck High School

Hi, my name is Christopher Miceli. I am a current Life Scout from Troop 2, Mamaroneck and a student at Rye Neck High School (RNHS). Over the past few months, I have been working alongside RNHS and the Boy Scouts of America to create a new memorial garden at the school for purposes of my Eagle Project. The garden will be located within the school's quad and will be adjacent to an already existing mural for a former graduate, Claire Julian.

Claire graduated in 2017. She was an avid fan of the outdoors, hiking, writing and the arts. Tragically, Claire passed away in 2021 and a mural was painted by her fellow classmates in her honor.

I am planning to create a new garden space that will include flowers, shrubs and trees and a stone bench to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Also, a granite stone compass will be included to encourage students to find their own path in life.

I would like to complete this project over the next few weeks and I need your help in fundraising to achieve this goal! I am hopeful to raise $2,500.00 and would be so appreciative to get your support!

Please note that any unused funds collected are donated back to Rye Neck High School.
