Nevertheless, we want to secretly plan a brilliant present and fly her to New York to see her great mate Amalie for four nights in November. We want this to be a lovely surprise so mum’s the word, eh? (ha ha)

We’re going to book a flight from Thursday 6 November to Monday 10 November. According to SkyScanner that’s roughly £450 so that’s the goal. Donate whatever you can, just remember that she is probably in the top 10 nicest people in the world.

Sorry to use the somewhat direct GoFundMe page but I think this is the best way to do it. Any extra money received above the cost of the flight can be her spending money over there.
