Claddagh Watch and AMACH! LGBT Galway

We are thrilled to announce the two charities we will be raising money for with Westend All-Stars! Claddagh Watch and AMACH! LGBT+ Galway.

The Claddagh Watch aims to create a safer environment around Galway city’s waterways through volunteer patrols and awareness. Their team is dedicated to improving the level of water safety across the city.

AMACH! LGBT+ Galway is a community development project that empowers, advocates for, and represents the LGBTI+ community in Galway city and county. This year AMACH! has re-established Teach Solais LGBT+ Resource Centre at 1 Courthouse Square, which has quickly become a hub of activity for the community in Galway, hosting a wide variety of events open to the public. The LGBT+ Resource Centre is a non-discriminatory space open to all, with a focus on being a safe space for marginalised groups in society.
