Claassen Struggling Family Fund

This is probably one of hardest things that I have had to do in order to take care of my family. For the most part, people can be so cruel by looking down their noses at others struggling just to make ends meet.

I am a mother of 5 children with hardly any support from family, friends, or social services. My husband is a severe diabetic and cannot work so relies on disability for income. My oldest son is also disabled (cerebral palsy and developmental delays due to being born premature). Unfortunately, that is it for income and according to the government, $167 per month is enough to feed this family. Even though I cannot afford the affordable health care that is being offered, I am the only member in this house that is uninsured so there is no time for me to be sick.

I try my best to make what I can by doing odd jobs and selling my artwork but I need to stay home to take care of the children and husband. If you never seen a diabetic seizure, I pray that you never do. We basically live shut off notice to shut off notice along with being behind on rent. My goal is to get out of this hole and stay out of it but I just need a little help to get us there. 

I look forward to helping others that are struggling like us so they won't have to feel the helplessness and judgement that I have faced.
