CKHS First Aid Kits – Scout Project for Safety

Hello/HELLUR and everything in between,

My name is David McClain, and I’m a Life Scout in Troop 1540 based in Bremerton, Washington. I’m currently working toward achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in Scouting, which requires planning and leading a significant service project that benefits the community.

For my Eagle Scout Project, I will be assembling and distributing emergency medical kits for Central Kitsap High School. These kits will be strategically placed throughout the school to ensure quick access to critical supplies in the event of injuries, emergencies, or lockdown situations.

This project is designed to enhance the safety and preparedness of students, teachers, and staff — because in an emergency, every second counts. The kits will include essential items like bandages, antiseptics, gloves, CPR masks, and trauma supplies — all organized and ready for immediate use.

What I Need:

To make this project a reality, I need to raise around $250 to cover the cost of supplies, containers, and labeling materials. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to the project — no profit, no waste. I am also contributing my time and leadership, coordinating with school administrators, and organizing fellow Scouts and volunteers to help assemble and install the kits.
