I am Malak 20 years old, married
I have a child named Hossam, who is one year and two months old.
I got married in Gaza three years ago. We had a beautiful, simple house. Then my husband and I traveled to the Emirates because of the instability of our lives in Gaza. We decided to travel so that our lives would be better, but we faced many problems and were unable to settle down. My husband did not get a job, and my condition worsened due to my pregnancy. I was only able to go to hospitals several times to monitor my pregnancy, but the costs were beyond our means, so I returned to Gaza without my husband, and I was four months pregnant. I returned to the months of pregnancy and gave birth to my child, Hossam, and my life expanded with his arrival, but unfortunately my joy was not complete due to the distance and estrangement from my husband. Our situation remained the same and neither I nor my child were able to travel there due to our poor financial situation. Hossam is now one year and two months old, and he has never seen his father before, and I have not seen my husband for a year and a half. Even my house, which my husband built, was burned and destroyed. His work was gone, and my husband's wishes were in vain
Hossam was born and his father did not see him because he was doing his best to save money in order to pay the accommodation fees for me and his son, the flight ticket fees, and provide housing for us.
Then the war came and we could not go to my husband
The exit fees from the Rafah crossing have become exorbitant and we cannot pay them
Because the entry fee per person from the Rafah crossing is ($5,000).
This is a large amount and we cannot provide it,I now live with my child in a small tent with my husband's family, and 10 people live in this tent
I live with my child in difficult conditions in the tent, including lack of food, polluted water that is not suitable for drinking or use, the spread of diseases, unavailability of medicines, high temperatures that my child cannot bear, and the difficulty of providing his needs for milk, pampers, and clothes.
Sometimes I cannot communicate with my husband due to the lack of internet, so my husband remains worried about us all the time and my husband cannot see his son and play with him.
My husband lives a depressing life because his son grew up far away from him and has not seen him since he was born. He is a year old and hopes to see his son as soon as possible, but the war has separated him from his son.
So I hope everyone will sympathize with me and my child so that he can see his father as soon as possible
