All that have met Trevor know he is a kind and gentle soul. He has spent his life building up the business of others through personal relations. Hi is the owner operator of Trevor’s Activity Center and Island eGuide. He has a skill of finding connections for the needs visitors and community member. He fell on hard times these past couple of years. He has a debilitating spinal injury that has left him 90% incapacitated. Doctor visits and exploratory surgery still have not determined what the cause is. His insurance has struggled to keep up and travel has been difficult because he has difficulty moving his arms and legs.

 

He says he is grateful for the assistance and love of the St. John community and is in surprisingly good spirits for the struggle he has been through. Neighbors and community members have assisted him with the full time care he needs when on St. John. He is traveling to India to receive medical attention and care that has been unavailable and unaffordable in the continental United States.

 

Unfortunately while traveling after his most recent surgeries left him more incapacitated America Airlines checked his carry on luggage without his permission. Being the last off the plane due to the need for a wheelchair he was the last to baggage claim where there were no bags left. Someone stole his carry-on luggage containing his laptop, visa, $2500 cash and other medical and personal items difficult or impossible to replace. The thief attempted identity theft through his computer and ransomed all items for $20,000. Trevor has just secured his accounts after managing this for a couple of months.
