Rebuild Lives in Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa
0% complete
$3,880 raised of

Hi, my name is Itamar Carter I was born in Porus, Manchester, JA. I am a practing Dentist in NYC. As many of you know, on October 28, 2025, Category 5 Hurricane Melissa ripped through Jamaica, leaving behind catastrophic damage and a lifetime of trauma for many—especially in rural communities.
Today, I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support the most vunerable , specifically for the elderly and women with children whose homes were completely destroyed. Many elderly individuals and single mothers have lost not only their roofs and belongings, but also their life savings.
In several rural areas, there is no electricity, running water, or access to food. Countless women and their children are now sleeping outdoors, using whatever materials they can find to protect themselves from the elements.
Your donation—no matter how small—can make a tremendous difference. Donations will go directly toward purchasing: building materials (cement, cinder blocks, roofing supplies), generators, tents, and essential supplies for immediate relief.
If you are unable to give financially, please consider sharing this page and keeping everyone affected in your prayers.
From my heart, thank you for your compassion, generosity, and continued support as we work together to rebuild lives and restore hope across Jamaica.
I will be flying to Jamaica personally to make all purchases with the donations given.
With gratitude,
Itamar Carter
