Help Lucy get back on her feet

I'm running this fundraiser for my younger sister Lucy Giambrone.

A gifted acupuncturist: who resides in Florida.

She is very ill & is in dire need of some support.

Lucy lives alone & has no family nearby.

I am currently supporting her, which is becoming difficult.

The rest of the family can only provide very minimal help.

Lucy Giambrone has dedicated her life to healing others. As a gifted holistic practitioner, and licensed acupuncturist, Lucy has spent the past 25 years caring for her patients with unparalleled compassion and commitment. Her warmth and healing touch have brought comfort and wellness to so many, and now, in her most challenging time, Lucy needs our support.

In February 2024, Lucy was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Despite her strength and unwavering faith, this journey has been fraught with unexpected challenges. After enduring several rounds of chemotherapy, Lucy underwent major surgery in June, hoping for the best. Unfortunately, complications arose, leading to two additional surgeries—one of which was an emergency procedure that saved her life.

For seven weeks Lucy was in intensive care at the University of Miami Hospital. She has been fighting with all her might to regain her strength and stability. She has been in a rehabilitation center in Hollywood for three weeks. She is just about ready to go home. Her journey is far from over, as more chemotherapy treatments await her, along with the need for home care when she returns.

Lucy's immediate family, based in New York, is doing everything they can from afar to manage her care and be with her in Florida. Her friends have been a tremendous support, offering emotional comfort, visiting her in the hospital, running errands, and caring for her home and beloved cats.

But now, more than ever, Lucy needs all of us. She needs our help to ease the overwhelming burden of medical bills, daily living expenses, and the cost of ongoing care. Our support will not only help Lucy sustain her daily life but will also give her the peace of mind to focus on what truly matters—her recovery.

Lucy’s greatest wish is to return to her life’s work, to once again support herself and her patients and reconnect with her beloved cats. But the financial strain of this battle has been immense. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a profound difference in Lucy's life. And if you're unable to donate, your prayers and positive thoughts are equally valued.
