Hello, my name is Rafaela and I made this gofundme to help with the costs of the funeral services for my older brother, Gerardo Martinez. Some may know him as jr or Roldi. Jr died on January 14th, 2023, he was hit by a car while he was walking on the side of the road. Jr grew up in poverty always having to deal with struggle after struggle. Even with the childhood, we had he was such a giving person with a big heart. If anyone needed somewhere to stay or needed help he would assist no questions asked. He was the type to give you the clothes off his back. Jr was my older brother so whenever I needed his protection for anything he was there. He was always there for me, so now it's my turn to help. My family has always struggled to make ends meet and have always lived paycheck to paycheck. So I'm hoping this fundraiser can help my family give the proper funeral service to jr. He at least deserves this and I will do anything to do that for him. Anything helps and if we're able to do a memorial service I will post it on social media. "I hope the angels know what they have"
