Ciudad de los niños - Malaga, Spain

Hi, my name is Deo Jason. I am going to Malaga, Spain, in April 2022 to do volunteer work at an orphanage called “Ciudad de Los Niños” (Children’s City). They provide on-site residence for destitute children and those removed from parent custody.  The on-site school is also open to children from low-income families and caters to their special learning needs.

 

Some of these children have no family, no parents to love and care for them, and they are at a massive disadvantage to most other children. I talked to the administrator who told me about the sad stories of these children (range from 12-18) and how they ended up in their care.

 

There are so many things they desperately need, and what I would love to do is to show these children that there are many people thinking of them who do care and want to help. The children are lacking basic things (clothes, slippers, blankets, toiletries, etc.). My goal is to raise $1,000 to buy the bare essentials that these kids need.

 

I know we all have our own commitments, but please share what you can for these children. Every dollar donated adds up. If we all come together, we can do something great. Thank you!
