East Brighton Food Cooperative have young Patrick Coyle ( almost 16 years old ) running the Brighton 10K today to raise essential funds for our work across the city of Brighton . We deliver a daily hot delivered fresh nutritious meal to our city’s residents who are unable to access one due to ill health and no local support network. We also freely supply 30+ community groups across the city with surplus food . Provide meals and snacks for after school clubs in Whitehawk , community events and also a national campaign “ Food is Medicine“ trying to build a sustainable health system whilst trying to save the taxpayer billions ££ . EBFC are trying to raise £5,000 to keep the lights on and the wonderful Enjoolata Foundation has pledged £1500 match funding towards the cause . So every £1 donated up to £1,500 will be doubled .
