Citizens for a Better Brownsburg

The goal of this page is to raise funds to oppose Industrial Zoning adjacent to our Brownsburg neighbors in Indiana.  These  development plans are against the Town of Brownsburg Comprehensive Plan, the Economic Development Strategic Plan, the Brownsburg Unified Development Ordinances and the Ronald Reagan Parkway Master Plan. All Town Council members continually vote in support for these industrial developers, as well as manipulate their governing documents and processes, to make these zoning abuses even easier in the future.

This industrial developments show an absolute lack of care for adjacent residential properties. These neighbors have invested their lives in Brownsburg's future, so this is so much more than just an argument over property values. We believe these developments will make their current homes unsustainable for any measure of quality of life.

The Ronald Reagan Parkway has become the predominant transportation route for Brownsburg residents to connect to I-74, with a popular secondary route at the adjacent US 136/Crawfordsville Road. We believe these new industrial developments will choke the traffic patterns for residents due to 24/7 semi truck traffic and employee shift rotations, as well as make the B&O Trail completely useless in this area.

All donated funds will be used to seek legal consultation to oppose Industrial Zoning adjacent to residential areas. Oversight of Town Council and Staff is needed immediately before these zoning abuses continue to spread.
