The purpose of this GoFundMe is to fight the City of Scranton’s appeal of the recent Act 511 ruling which held that the City is illegally overtaxing its residents, businesses, and visitors by at least $10 Million per year. The city of Scranton is stealing the money of tax payers and using it to continue to steal the money of tax payers- a double offense.

The funds will be used for fees and costs associated with defending the recent decision in St. Fleur, et. al. vs. City of Scranton, et. al. as it makes its way through the Pennsylvania Appellate Courts. We want the Scranton government to obey the law and stop wasting tax payers money through refusing to obey the law. Furthermore, the waste of tax payers money to justify the illegal collection of tax payer money is unconscionable!! The people of Scranton have suffered enough and have given more than can reasonably be expected. Enough is enough!
