Cindy Stemmer Working while Walker Bound
Donation protected
Thank you all so much for donating and sharing this go fund me that was set up for Cindy Stemmer. http://A1st.us has been set up and #CindyWG to help with sharing Cindy's Story. Also in this update: Webster-Kirkwood Times came by this morning to interview Cindy.
Cindy worked at McDonald’s for 35 years. When the lobby shut down due to COVID in 2020, she could no longer go to work. Cindy was walker bound for the last 5 years of her employment but still showed up to work. Waking up at 4 AM just to make it to work at 5:30 AM. Her shift did not start until 6am, but it would take her nearly 30 minutes to make her way inside from the car due to her mobility issues. Cindy is a hero in my opinion. She now gets only $690.00 every month in Social Security. Cindy and her sister have fallen behind on their real estate taxes. Their house is 100% paid for but they were told if they did not come up with $4,186 dollars, the house they both grew up in would be put up for sale by the County. This Go Fund Me is to help Cindy and Claudia pay down the real estate tax and allow them live out the rest of their lives in the house they both grew up in.
There will be a follow up video of Cindy and Claudia viewing this go fund me for the first time and seeing the care and support of her fellow Americans. Thank you and God Bless you all
