Cinders community growth

You may have heard murmurings of changes in the air at Cinders, hence mum and I thought we'd make an update available to keep those who are interested in touch with things.
Mum has been at Cinders since 2008 when it was run as a dress hire and tea shop. SInce I joined her we have been able to considerably grow the business and our clientelle. No more dresses for hire, but we still love dressing up and doing the unexpected with and for our community.
We are now recognised by many as a friendly & welcoming coffee & tea shop, who also provide hot and cold food, various homemade cakes with supporting our customers who have particular eating requirements in mind - vegan, gluten free, lacto intollerance.
You may or may not, be aware that over the last 2 years `Pilates with Meg` has become a valued part of Shanklin community; initially started with Meg, developing her knowledge and skills to qualify as a Pilates Instructor.
Some of her "guinea pigs" were regular customers of `Cinders`, from there she ran small groups when the cafe was not open, and quickly the need grew for more space locally, the popularity meant a move to rent further space. As Meg intoduced more options, to meet different needs, her popularity has continued to grow.
There is an unexpected opportunity for us to join both businesses under one roof plus an added bonus of not having to move far!...... It is our hope that this will come to fruition in the near future.
The new space will allow space for a cafe and separate studio. Our plans will include providing new and broader opportunities for our local community to improve their well-being and develop skills for self-care, continued pilates classes of course, but also introduce other therapies within an environment that will continue to be friendly and supportive and encouraging of people to try new approaches to their own care.
Helping others is integral to our values & beliefs, and it is our intention to further focus on this ethos by developing and growing social enterprise opportunities within our new development for the business.
We are really appreciative of our continued growth of customers, and amazed at how varied and generous they have been and continue to be. To this end it has come to our awareness that there are some people that would be able and willing to support us through funding gifts. This would be so appreciated and helpful in taking this opportunity to its next stage of occupation!
If you are interested and feel able to do this for us we would be most grateful.
