Help Us Adopt!

Miles and I met at a friend’s game night in the fall of 2021. We hit it off instantly and I made him my buddy in the games. Afterwords it took Miles a couple of months to ask me out, but when we went on our first date we knew that we had a future together. Miles was my date to my brother’s wedding and on the way home I got to meet his family. We built relationships we thought we’d never have. This meant the world to us because family is so important.

Down the road we talked about our future and the life we’d hope to build together. I have always wanted to a mom and Miles a dad. Unfortunately the journey to parenthood has not been easy for us.

I am going on 12 years of being diagnosed with lupus (among other things). Between the medication I take to keep my immune system stable and my lupus I am unable to carry a child safely. We knew we had options, but we were set on adoption when we received Miles’ recent diagnosis of lupus. Although we fight battles that others cannot always see, we know we are meant to be parents. We are starting the adoption process, but we are looking at spending $65,000. Help us bring home the baby God intended us to have. ❤️
