Hi I’m Lisa, a resident of Churchlands. We’re raising €4,500 to install a 24/7 public-access defibrillator (AED) in our estate. This is a vital, life-saving device that could make all the difference in an emergency.
Since starting the #learnforlauren page, we’ve been committed to helping others become more aware and prepared. Now, we want to take that mission further by helping our own village get trained and protected.
We’re working with Greystones First Responders, who have recommended a trusted AED model with pre-connected adult and child pads, and a solar-heated cabinet for outdoor access. They register it with google maps and the ambulance service, and handle all future maintenance.
Once the defib is in place, we’ll host a free training session for all residents, because this isn’t just about the equipment, it’s about empowering the people who might one day need to use it.
We’re suggesting €60 per household, but any amount helps.
Thank you
