*Help Me Reunite With My Son & Start a New Life After Tragedy**
My name is **Chryshallis Larkin**, and I’m asking for your help to rebuild my life after surviving a traumatic event that changed everything.
On **September 19, 2022**, my son and I were victims of a violent robbery where we were both **shot and separated**. I lost custody of him during this time and became **paralyzed from the neck down**. Since then, I’ve been in and out of nursing homes, facing **neglect, abuse**, and struggling just to stay alive. I’ve had repeated hospital stays due to **serious bedsores** and complications that come from not having the right equipment or care.
Right now, I’m living in an apartment that’s **too small and not wheelchair accessible**. It’s damaging my chair and making it harder to heal. I feel unsafe and unsupported — even my own mother wants to put me back in a nursing home. It’s heartbreaking. I’m trying to stay strong, but being surrounded by negativity and instability is weighing on my mental health. I just want **peace, healing, and a chance to be a mom again**.
This fundraiser will help me:
* **Find a safe, accessible home** where I can get proper care and space to heal
* **Cover basic bills and responsibilities** so I don’t have to worry about eviction while I recover
* **Get a hospital-grade bed and wheelchair equipment** to treat my pressure sores
* **Have a live-in caregiver**, which I need in order to bring my son home
* **Work toward walking again**, being independent, and building a better future for me and my child
I want to relocate and start over in a safe environment where I can grow, get better, and live free from fear and judgment. I need a space where I can **focus on healing physically and emotionally**, without being told I don’t belong.
