Help Reunite a Mother and Daughter

Hello, my name is Sunita, and I’m reaching out with a mother’s heartfelt plea.

It has been five long years since I last saw my daughter, Christy. She is currently alone in India, and we are desperately trying to reunite here in Canada for an extended visit. Despite numerous attempts to bring her here through student and work visa applications, each effort has been met with heartbreaking setbacks, leaving us with no remaining visa options. Because she is recently out of school, (20 years old) she doesn't yet have the work experience to be able to obtain a work permit, which is very difficult to get in Canada right now.

Christy and I share a strong bond, and this separation has taken a deep emotional toll on both of us. On top of that, her grandparents—who were once a strong support for her in India—are now struggling with serious health issues, making this situation even more urgent and difficult.

We are now working on bringing Christy to Canada for an extended visit so that we can be together again. However, the costs involved—travel and living expenses—are more than can be managed alone.

That’s why I’m turning to you, friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers: to ask for your help in reuniting a mother and daughter.
