Christopher's Legacy: Helping others out of the dark

My name is Mindy. I lost my son Christopher in June of 2021. My girls and I have been putting on a benefit concert in his name for the past 4 years. In that time, all the money that has been donated has gone to Leavitts Funeral Home to help other families with the financial burdens of losing a loved one. We have been fortunate enough to help 8 families thus far with their expenses. This year I wanted to reach out to the entire MOV community for help with this cause. Our benefit will be held on May 10th at the city park bandstand from 12-8. Please come and join us for live music! There will be a ton of vendors and food trucks. The Ohio Valley Jeep Club will also be supporting with laps around the park starting at 5. Let’s raise awareness for suicide and mental health and let’s help our neighbors in need!!
