Help Christopher's Family While He's At SickKids Til January

Hi there, I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of Marisa Morais and her family.

Marisa's beautiful son Christopher was born with a birth defect called Omphalocele. This means that his stomach, liver and intestines are currently located outside of his belly.

Christopher was born 3 months prematurely and he stayed at sick kids for a full year. Due to him being born prematurely he was also born with hydrocephalus and had to have an emergency surgery at 6 months old to put a shunt in his head. As you can imagine, this is so much pain for anyone to endure let alone a newborn child.

Through out all of this Christopher has remained sweet, joyful and a bundle of sunshine. His family has also maintained their positivity, hope and gratitude for the treatments he has received so far. This week Christopher had his first surgery (which thankfully went successfully) to treat his Omphalocele diagnoses. This was the first of 5 surgeries! Christopher will be in the hospital until January and one of the parents has to be with him at all times, understandable so. Due to this, Marisa will be unable to work as she stays by her sons side and showers him with love, protection, and comfort. This GoFundMe will help Marisa and her family be able to afford their regular bills, as well as food, and even possibly some gifts for Christopher to keep him happy and engaged during this incredibly difficult time.
