Christopher Maio's Eagle Scout project fundraiser

Hi! My name is Christopher Maio and I am a Life Scout with Boy Scout Troop 28 in Wenham, Massachusetts. 

One of my requirements for the rank of Eagle is to lead and manage a service project for an organization.

I have chosen to work with the Wenham Village Improvement Society, or WVIS, who since 1893 have worked to improve life in our town of Wenham through social gatherings, education, entertainment, and beautification of the town. They own and oversee one of the towns most beloved parks and run a park program in the summer for local kids. The park has been around for generations and is used year round. It is located behind the famed Wenham Tea House.

For my project, I am replacing the three benches currently at the park. They are used by mothers, caretakers, and children visiting the park. The current benches are reaching the end of their life and have served the community well and need to be retired. I would like to replace them with Western Red Cedar benches, which will compliment the park and withstand New England winters for many years.

I am asking for your financial support. I need to raise $1300 for the 3 benches and supplies to weatherize and install them. I would like to start the project as soon as possible and would appreciate if you or your company would donate to help me achieve my goal of becoming an Eagle Scout. Your generosity is appreciated.
