For several years, Alexander Chisholm Guibault and the team at OUR Guatemala: Being a Bridge have been delivering food to biological and foster families of internationally adopted children. During these visits, Alex listens to the families’ stories, offers education, and always brings a warm, welcoming smile. My family was blessed to travel with OUR Guatemala - Travel with Purpose, where we witnessed firsthand the drive, compassion, and energy that Alex brings to his work every day. He is truly a blessing to everyone who knows him.

While food is essential for these families living in poverty, Alex recognized that the children often go without the simple joys that make the holidays special. With a strong desire to bring happiness to these children, Alex started a Christmas toy drive. He believes that providing a moment of joy can be just as powerful as meeting basic needs, and he is incredibly passionate about making a difference in their lives.

This year, Alex and a small team of helpers will shop for toys, carefully package them, and deliver them to the children of families receiving Christmas Food Basket deliveries.
