This year, we’re coming together to make Christmas truly magical for the incredible children at the Butterwick. The Butterwick holds a very special place in my heart—when my auntie was there, they cared for her like she was their own family. I’ll never forget the kindness, comfort, and love they showed, and now I want to give something back.

What started as a small idea—a simple Christmas light switch-on—has turned into something unbelievable. I expected maybe 20 people to show up… and instead, it feels like half of Teesside is coming along! The support has been amazing, and it’s shown us just how much this community wants to make a difference.

Because of the overwhelming response, we’re hoping to raise funds to give the Butterwick kids the best Christmas possible. Every penny will go toward gifts, decorations, festive surprises, and making sure these incredible children feel all the joy and magic they deserve.
