Hi, it’s Garry from Mr Thoms in Tenbury wells!

I’ve been part of a small team for over 20 years now helping to raise monies each year to support Tenbury wells Christmas lights fund on behalf of Tenbury Chamber of Trade. In the last few years we have had many challenges including, flooding, covid, cost of living etc which have all put pressure on our fundraising targets.

We have always relied on generous local businesses and community funds to help us reach our annual target but this is becoming increasingly difficult.

I myself have enjoyed the towns seasonal festivities for over 50 years now, and I would so love these to continue for many years to come. But in order to do this we need your help and support. Every £1 you can donate will go towards maintaining our Christmas lights, replacing them when faulty and supporting the towns festive parade which is lead by Father Christmas each year to St Mary’s church in Tenbury from where all of our local children have the opportunity to see him.

I can’t imagine a Tenbury without our lights and parade. These events are so important for increasing footfall in our town over the seasonal period and have a positive impact on the community as a whole.
